PROTEGO WIRE INDIA OFFICE DEVELOPMENT FUND(“PWIODF”)

Introduction

WIRE Commercial Partners (“WIRE”), a subsidiary of WIRE Group Limited has formed a joint venture with Protego Real Estate Investors (“Protego”). The Joint venture offers European institutional investors the opportunity to invest in India commercial office real estate.

Protego will be the Investment Manager and WIRE will be the Transaction and Development Manager as well as the Asset and Property Manager. The Protego WIRE India Office Development Fund commenced marketing in late November 2007.

Protego was launched in April 2004 by Iain Reid, Charles Weeks and Hugo Llewelyn, who have since been joined as Principals by James Salmon, Peter de Haas and Alex Sutherland. Protego's business is servicing the needs of institutional investors in property, currently in the UK and continental Europe through direct investment, indirect investment vehicles and financial instruments. Protego employs more than 40 people across the three offices.

Protego is developing a business in Asia and has spent considerable time and effort in reviewing opportunities in the region. PWIODF is Protego’s first Asian fund offering.
